Research Fellow (Analogue Modelling)
Young and research-intensive, Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) is ranked 11th globally. It is also placed 1st amongst the world’s best young universities. The Earth Observatory in Singapore (EOS) at NTU Singapore is a national science Research Center of Excellence. Its mission is to conduct fundamental research on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunami and climate change in and around Southeast Asia, toward safer and more sustainable societies.
The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) invite applications for a Research Fellow to investigate volcanic processes combining monitoring and experimental approaches. This will involve the quantitative analysis of analogue experiments design to understand conduit processes. This work will be taking place in an already existing experimental facility. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant scientific department with state-of-the-art labs and a team of international scientists. Candidates with prior experience in analogue experiments on volcanic processes and acquisition of field data are desired.
